Franchise Fee may depend and also vary with the company you are choosing. Well known companies charge more to use their name for your business and also they tend to be very serious when they want to consider a franchise.

I just got done reading E-myth last night and realized how important it is to learn about franchising as a model. This video provides good info even in less than 2 minutes! Stuff I didn’t know.

When it comes to franchise, the higher company reputation the higher price for fees. But still it is a profitable business if you have a strategic place to establish your franchise.

What would you say is a normal franchise fee? Can you give some examples, like what a McDonalds restaurant pays?

So if franchise fees range in price, which ones are less expensive? Can you give me an example of a less expensive franchises when it comes to the fees that are added on?

People confuse franchise fees with the whole start up costs, though. I am a franchise agent and many of my clients, who have more guts than capital, have this problem of not having enough for other initial costs like rent for space, renovation costs and legalities.

Franchise fee is just one of the initial costs to incur. There’s more, actually.

I think when it comes to franchising, you will be expected to pay a one time franchise fee simply to have the rights to open that franchise.

    So,
From what everyone is saying here, this is a one-time deal. I was always under the impression that franchise fees were recurring. I looked into the idea of starting a 7-11 not too long ago, but this was one of the factors that deterred me a bit.

I confirm in franchising, generally, you have beginning fees and royalty fees every year to have the right to use the brand.

There are a bunch of franchise outfits cropping up in the promotional products industry. Three years ago I would have thought they were too expensive in terms of fees. After many sleepless nights handling non sales related issues I’d say jump on the opportunity if it fits.
